Born from the success of the 7′ one piece “Go-To” Dagger rod the new 7′ travel rod now breaks down into 3 pieces. Not only does it break down into 3 pieces to make a completed rod BUT it also comes with an additional tip section. Each tip section allows this rod to cover multiple types and styles of fishing by providing different powers. By having two tip options, it allows you to target multiple species from saltwater to fresh water while cutting down on the amount of gear you need to travel with. Like our other Dagger rods, this is no different and made with all of the finests FUJI components. This rod is suitable for all day casting, travel, lightweight and ultra sensitive. It comes with Custom WINN grips, true FUJI passthrough reel seat, FUJI single footed K-WAG Alconite guides that are great for either braid, mono or fluorocarbon. Perfect on the road companion
I’ve paired the Dagger Do-To Rod with a Shimano Vanford 2500 but also can gear up to a 5000 if it’s called for. Love the weight and the sensitivity.

Wonderful Travel rod
Purchased this rod to travel to a fly in fishing camp in western Ontario. The rod has been fantastic for catching Walleye and Northern Pike. Been using the green tip all week and has been awesome. Purchased during the Father’s Day sale and I was so impressed when I received the rod, that I wanted to purchase another one while the sale was still on. Sale was still showing on their website but wasn’t reflected in my cart at checkout. I contacted customer twice so I could complete the purchase and never received a response.

Best Travel Rod For Inshore Yet
My 4th rod from Matt and NJT, and no surprise, it’s also GREAT! Finally had a chance to try it out this past week in Corova, NC. Extremely tough fishing, but the rod was super fun to use. Cast’s great, sensitivity is also where it needs to be. Oh, remember, this is a TRAVEL rod, not a one-piece!! Customer Service also continues to be the best – when I tried to get this rod they were sold out. When I contacted NJT/Matt about when they would be back in stock, Matt personally looked and located one that wasn’t yet listed on the website. In my hands 3 days later. LMK when you find a ‘big box store/rod manufacture’ that does that. Matt and Team, keep doing what you are doing (. . . . and please let us know when you’re ready to venture into freshwater rods, too 😛 ) – JC

Excellent rod!
Overall I love the rod! It performed great with excellent feedback. Two notes, the case is a bit tight to get all the pieces back in so they have to go in a specific order. Secondly, the guides bend way too easy and one was bent straight out of the gate. It easily bent back to place with one finger though. Shipping was excellent and extremely fast!
