The S-Line 651 has been especially designed to suit the very demanding world of beach and shore fishing that requires absolute precision and finest tolerances to enable to cast, brake and retrieve the lead and baits of the angler.

Akios flagship reel is the S-line 656 CTM (Right Hand) & 651 (Left Hand) CTM, which is the casters dream due to all the tech spec of brass gears, carbon drag washers, brass, chrome plated corrosion resistant side plates, upgraded stainless power handle, upgraded spool release spring to stop reel re-engaging during cast, centrifugal brake, fully adjustable magnetic brake again positioned on left hand side plate by the turn of the chromed knobby. This model being a CT has no level wind and therefore has no resistance during cast and will cast to the horizon! Be sure to take care and get ready with the brakes!!

Casts a mile user friendly
Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one this is my second Akios reel and it’s just as good as my other one. Built like a tank and casts a mile. Looks good doing it too

Excellent Reel
Great value for a work horse surfcasting reel. Takes off where the Abu 6501 C3 has left off and in the long run the Akios 651CTM will be not only cheaper but is more durable. Just ordered my third one, life is good 🙂
