The LIL Scotty is one of my favorite surf fishing rigs. Perfect size rig for just about anything you would target in the surf (pompano, whiting, etc.). Well made with quality parts.

Hooks tend to bend with bigger fish
The lil scotty is good for pan fish only. A catfish jumped on my line and bent the hook straight. Lost the fish. Recommend upgrading the hooks.

Designed and proven tournament winner
I helped in the design with this set up. I have won 3 categories in the last 5 surf tournaments using this rig and set up. Super sharp hooks and fish key on red and white . Tip this with bloodworms , squid , sand fleas and it’s a proven killer. Even caught a 12 pounds blue with this rig. Get you sum and give it a toss .
