Description
The NEW Gen 2 ES Lures are an OBX special that are hand made in Charlottesville, VA! Also seen on Bama Beach Bums OBX series for YouTube!
When after those hard to reach fish and need a little extra weight to get there, these lures will do it! Ideal for Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Red Drum from the surf or sound as well as trolling and/or jigging for Striper/Rock Fish. These lures have a special hardened coating that help them stand up against the razor sharp teeth of many targeted fish.
The Gen 2 series have a sleeker and more aerodynamical body style designed for greater distances no matter where you’re casting from.
NOTE: These lures are hand made from mold to painting and might have some slight variations.

Website confusing
Website was confusing. I did not want the 2 oz. too heavy. The website looked like you got all three: small, medium and large. Very disappointed. Leaving for Florida 9-29 and will not be able to use the 2 oz. ones

Great Lures
Used them briefly at Port Arkansas. They cast like a bullet, regardless of the wind. Caught two fish in short order before I had to head back.

2oz Small Dense Bright Chartreuse/Orange
Im glad i chose the chartreuse/orange color pattern as its definitely brighter than i had expected. Perfect for the dense foggy nature found here in the San francisco surf. Visual attraction a plus packed into a dense 2 ounce compact lure- perfect for cutting through the high wind speeds we commonly find here. 11ft ModHv 1-6 ounce easily casts this out beyond sight. Casting spoons

Heavy duty casting metal
The Ninja Tackle site was easy to use. They communicated well and shipped my lures out quickly. They came securely packaged. They were almost exactly as pictured on the website. 2 of the 3 lures were missing eyes on them. They had nice black flat spots in that place so I epoxied eyes using some that I have for tying flies. Other than that, they seem pretty robust. They have quality galvanized hooks and seem rugged enough to last for a while.

Wish I had my lures to try
Never received them! They were sent usps and they said they couldn’t deliver because of improper address, I checked my order and I gave the correct address, so I’m not sure what is going on with my order now
