LONG lasting chem light
I have used these several times when night fishing with outstanding results. I’ve also put them on one night to fish and they were still working well enough the next night that I did not change them (at 72 hours, they finally faded enough to be not as effective to see but still emitted some light). The XL size fits all of my surf rods and I can put it on my shorter Shimano FX (needs to be lower than the tip but it works) and it holds. One of my favorite parts of these lights is that I can cast full power and they do not fly off. I have a pretty whippy cast too and that has been my biggest issue with chem sticks. These are my go-to from now on for night fishing.
